FSL carry out quality, hygiene, and safety inspections across the UK for a wide range of clients. We independently monitor the quality and safety of the food they present to customers, giving them the data to make measurable improvements and have total confidence that their business is complying with food safety and health & safety legislation.

We have an exciting and varied opportunity for a full-time food industry professional to join FSL as a Technical Administrator based at our head office in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

• You will support FSL’s management team and field inspectors to drive a continuous improvement and quality culture throughout the business.
• You will need good communication skills to act as technical first point of contact and support for our team and clients.
• You will need excellent literacy and IT skills to review clients reports, ensure they are technically correct, have a consistent approach across the inspection team and that clients’ requirements are achieved.
• You will have good attention to detail to review documentation and records to ensure information and data is always maintained and updated to reflect compliance
• You will have a thorough industry knowledge and be up to date on the latest food legislation and health and safety requirements.
• You will carry out site safety and quality inspections when required, predominantly in Cornwall, but some travel may be required to suit the business needs.

We are interested in individuals with qualifications such as:

• Food Safety
• Health & Safety
• Trainer
• Inspection / Auditing Training
• Or other similar qualifications

The role would suit those with the following experience:

• Food Quality and Food Safety
• Food Inspectors / Auditors
• Trainers in food related subjects
• Chefs / Catering/Food production
• Technical and quality teams in the food or cleaning industry

The Package:

• £23,000 to £25,000 per year salary.
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

• Statutory holidays of 28 days, including bank holidays.
